[Pageant] Miss Universe 2018 Kick-off, Who Stands Out?

Of all beauty pageants exist, Miss Universe is undeniably the most captivating! Every girl wants to be Miss Universe. Whenever the Miss Universe starts, all our eyes glued to its activities. Everyone wants to know what happened at every second.

The pageant itself started in 1952, a year after Miss World was established. No, we are not going to talk about the history, we are going to talk about the ONGOING PAGEANT! Yes, you read it right! The Miss Universe 2018 has just begun and it is in Thailand!

This year, I believe the Miss Universe Organization breaks the record (again) with the most number of contestants in the history of Miss Universe. If I'm not mistaken, there will be 94 girls competing for the crown. That's one number higher than last year of 93 contestants.

Speaking of crown, I recently saw a banner with the strange Miss Universe logo (unfortunately I did not found it online). It resembles the shape of a crown! I suspect there would be a new crown this year but I do not know if the crown will be permanent or only used specifically for this year. Either way, I'm excited to hear the official announcement!

For the main point of this post, I will shout out my personal opinion about the girls. I had trouble narrowing down the girls into 15, so I made it top 15 plus 10 possible slots LMAO I know it's ridiculous but once you know my reason you will understand. Now, what made me a little overwhelmed? The Miss Universe Organization --as we all know is now owned by WME|IMG. Since 2015 there has always, I repeat, ALWAYS been a twist of surprise in the semifinal slots. In 2015, South Africa and Curacao were both out of (almost) everyone's eyes. Most experts did not favor them to be in the semifinals but in fact they were. In 2016, Kenya surprised the audience (and probably herself) by making the cut, not only to the top 13 but to the top 6! She successfully defeated the ultra-favorite Mariam Habach of Venezuela, whom everyone thought would easily be in the top 3. 2017 was no exception, we saw many heartbreaks in the list of top 16. In the other hand, the girls who were out of sight (e.g. Croatia, Sri Lanka, Ghana, China, Ireland) slipped easily into the semifinal slots. This means that Preliminary performance is NO MORE reason to determine the semifinalists, there must be something else. Recently, Siera Bearchell (Miss Universe Canada 2016) uploaded a video on her YouTube channel, revealing that there are some things bigger than the girls' performance during prelims. It might be your in-depth interview, your personality on and off-camera, background story, your motives to Miss Universe and many things possibly help the girls get the semifinal slots.

Siera Bearchell's Video

With that being said, I tried the same method to determine my picks. I did some research (I dunno how to call it but yeah I dug some info about the girls) and add some of my favorites! There has been a pattern as well in the newest MUO semifinals list, like there should be a finalist from each continent, there should not be any monopoly from certain continent, there is always at least one black beauty in the list, there should be at least one finalist that is out of everyone's sight (shocking effect) and so on and so forth.

So yeah, from all things I did I can finally list my pick for this year's Miss Universe. Without further ado, here is my arrival picks of the Miss Universe 2018

Billy's Miss Universe early favorites

Let's start off the list with

1. USA
Sarah Rose Summers

USA is going strong this year. She is a total babe! She knows how to speak (obviously) and she has always been spreading positive vibes ever since she was Miss Nebraska USA --probably even before! She is for sure a great spokesperson and an icon for Miss Universe Organization

2. Philippines
Catriona Gray

Philippines is my PERSONAL FAVORITE! Seriously, the Philippines had never sent a contestant this strong in recent era. Ever since Catriona declared her rally to Binibining Pilipinas, everyone has been buzzing about her. More and more exposure were gained after she easily clinched the Miss Universe Philippines title. I swear, the Philippines never send a candidate this strong, not even Pia (and she WON Miss Universe!). I can say she is definitely the one to grab the crown.
Question: why number two?
I told you before, IMG is unpredictable. Anything can happen. Seeing the pattern, being the most perfect contestant in the batch always has its own perks but it is way too early to declare her as the obvious winner. We still have weeks ahead. Nevertheless, Catriona Gray is more than ready to hold the title.

3. Australia
Francesca Hung

Surprise, surprise! Look who surprises us all (or is it just me?). Australia was off my list before this. Seeing her performance during interview and in-motion, she is definitely something! Do not be surprised to hear Steve calling Australia several times in the final, because she really deserves it! My message if Francesca reads this: stay humble, maintain the energy, know that MUO's  'camera' are not always in the form of camera. Be prepared and be consistent and you will do your country proud.

4. Puerto Rico
Kiara Liz Ortega

Puerto Rico is definitely something this year! She is a total package, the body, the face, the walk, the charm, not to mention tons of surprises waiting. I believe she is the one everyone should watch!

5. South Africa
Tamaryn Green

Of all African queens, she is the strongest! Seriously, the Miss South Africa doesn't want to let the previous victory be like that, she demands a repeat! With her statuesque figure and eloquent English, I believe a repeat is possible.
Question: Will IMG let another back-to-back occurs? I don't think so. She is ultimately amazing but just no for a back-to-back. Just saying. Anyway, Top 3 is still wide open for her!

TOP 10

6. Venezuela
Sthefany Gutierrez

A queen to watch! She remains so-so at the arrival but I'm pretty sure in her pocket there is a lion ready to unleash itself. Just watch and never underestimate Venezuela's power in Miss Universe

7. Brazil
Mayra Diaz

Finally, a Brazilian rep that does not resemble USA's. She is drop-dead gorgeus! I have nothing more to say, that's that: beware of Mayra Diaz of Brazil!

8. Thailand
Sophida Kanchanarin

An advantage is definitely upon her. She is the host delegate! With that said, top 15 is not a hard matter for her except she did something fatal during the Miss Universe activities. For now, top 10 is definitely wide open for her

9. Colombia
Valeria Morales

I'm itching to write this. Okay, she is gorgeus, amazing and so on but earlier her statement is going viral about her opinion on transgender joining Miss Universe. I do respect her statement, she has the right to say but it's just on the wrong platform. She should have known that Miss Universe community allows transgender to legally compete so her statement should be kept inside her head. But yeah, we cannot take words back. We already know what's inside her head and let's wish her luck in the competition. Aside of all, she is a drop-dead gorgeus woman that deserves a place.

10. Spain
Angela Ponce

The first in history! She is the first transgender to ever compete in Miss Universe! This story would be her advantage to slip into the top 15 or more. I just wonder of her reaction towards those spreading words about her (especially regarding to Miss Colombia's statement) and how would she respond. If she can manage it gracefully, the top 10 slot is all yours!

TOP 15

11. Malta
Francesca Mifsud

Malta is not playing around! She is gorgeus and might have a secret weapon to glide into the top 15. She was trained by famous Filipino trainer which of course be one of her weapon to face the Miss Universe competition

12. India
Nehal Chudasama

India reminds me of Canada's Siera Bearchell story. The differences between them is that India successfully lost her weight and Canada embraced her body. Overall, they are trying to deliver similar message about being healthy. This might be one of the reasons India is being considerable. Plus, she is pretty!

13. Great Britain
Dee-ann Rogers

I did not recall seeing black beauty as Great Britain's representative in Miss Universe recent years. Correct me if I'm wrong. I told you earlier, IMG is all about diversity. Dee-ann might pull off a spot for Great Britain, she is something! She reminds me of Ariyana Miyamoto of Japan back in 2015. both are the sounds of color at their respective country.

14. Ecuador
Virginia Limongis

Perfect body shape, beautiful face, nice person, amazing walk. What else? She has it all! One thing I'm a little concerned about is: is that enough to be Miss Universe?
Flashback to previous editions, there are many girls like her and ended up not getting the crown. She definitely needs something different that when everyone sees her, they stop and say "Yes, she is Miss Universe"

15. France
Eva Colas

France is sweet and beautiful, that's all I can say now. I haven't seen her really shining and stealing the show but hey, French girls can be a serious killer (not literally, LOL). I just can picture her in the top 15 for now, don't know why. It's just my hunch saying "insert France, insert France, insert France, insert France" to be honest. Hahaha.

Possible candidates:

a. Canada - Marta Stepien
Canada is total babe but currently being a little diva-ish and it's not good. perhaps it's just her way to blend but still, it disturbs. I'm really sorry. Anyway, let's not throwing her out because she is definitely up to something and we should sit and wait.

b. Russia - Yulia Polyachikhina
Another strong and beautiful girl. Again, is that enough to bring her on top?

c. Vietnam - H'Hen Nie
Her advocacy is excellent, she came from poor background and so on. but seeing her in Dolce&Gabbana glasses? Girl, that does not reflect your consistency on your advocacy. The story you bring will be forgotten. No one will believe you came from that backstory. I know your luggage might come from sponsorship but keep it subtle and not that 'Ka-boom! Universe, look at me. I'm gorgeus!'

d. Nepal - Manita Devkota
Coming from Nepal, the country that started their debut last year, she is something different. Let's say she might surprise us by her charm and ended up on top. We never knew.

e. Costa Rica - Natalia Carvajal
Another bomb. Her body and face is out of this world a.k.a. perfectly toned but I remain with my statement: is it enough?

f. Panama - Rosa Montezuma
She has moles above her lips, there are sayings that mole above the lips will bring you as the first runner up. hahaha, it might happen! She is gorgeous, though

g. Angola - Ana Liliana Aviao
I told you before, there will be at least one black beauty in the semifinal. The other option is Great Britain. We don't know what's gonna happen. She should be watched closely

h. Indonesia - Sonia Fergina Citra
Unlike the previous years, I always put my countrymen in the top 15 but not this year. I am being as honest as possible. She is just not that obvious. She is not as strong as Bunga Jelitha, she is not as bold as Whulandary, or as bubbly as Elvira Devinamira but knowing the organization of Puteri Indonesia she will be unleashing weapons up her sleeves for shurrreeee. For now, let her stay at the 'possible' list

i. Lebanon - Maya Reaidy
She is under the hands of former Miss USA, Rima Fakih. Rima knows exactly what's inside the scoop of Miss Universe. Even though Rima failed the Miss Universe 2010, she must be learning from that and Maya will be 'Reaidy' to figure out what to do and what not to do

j. Switzerland - Jastina Doreen Riederer
I know a contender when I see one. If only she has been more bold, she would easily be in the top 15. She should be consistent, eloquent, and at least being 'unforgettable'. She might as well be prepared as the 'element of surprise'.

Honorable Mention:

Malaysia - Jane Teoh
We all know that MUCA Skin Care of Malaysia is the sponsor of the 67th Miss Universe. This might be one of Malaysia's weapon to clinch a spot and help her getting through the competition.

Conclusion:
Under the new management, the Miss Universe Organization is totally surprising. Sometimes regarding the qualification, sometimes the system, and sometimes its the concept. Each girl just have to find the best formula and be the best version of themselves. Regardless of whatever I write, I wish each girl good luck!

I cannot say any further, let the mysteries unfold.

See you at the Final Thought!

The Soco Natural Lipbalm Peach - Review

Hola! Apa kabar? Akhirnya punya kesempatan buat nulis lagi. Kemarin-kemarin ku sibuk nyari pundi pundi rupiah. Nyahahahaha.

FYI, beberapa bulan kebelakang diriku lagi seneng banget punya ‘mainan’ baru. Gratisan (lagi) pula! You know how I define ‘mainan’ kan? Yep, skin-care! *evilish laugh*

This time, Bandung Beauty Blogger ngasih kesempatan buatku nge-review dua buah produk dari skin care merek lokal, TheSoco.id.

As I told you earlier, ini produk lokal. Brand ini diberi nama “The Soco”.

Peach. TheSoco.id sendiri punya 3 varian untuk lip balmnya. Peach, Rose, dan Vanilla Peppermint (Yang rose baca disini). Sebagai fans Vanilla garis keras, tentunya aku berharap varian Vanilla Peppermint-lah yang mengetuk pintu rumah. Tapi masa iya mau nawar? Udah gratisan, nawar pula. Kan gak lucu :))

Tapi, si varian peach ini LUAR BIASA enak. Wanginya lembut, nggak menusuk hidung. Pas.
Untung sebelum nerima barang ini, aku baca blog sebelah. Jadi aku ngga muter lip balm ini tinggi-tinggi. Lembuuut banget soalnya :)))

Bahan bakunya sendiri sangat natural. Dia dibuat dari beeswax, shea butter, minyak zaitun, minyak kelapa, dan minyak esensial wangi peach. Alami, bukan?

Kemasannya aku cinta sangat! Berkelas gitu lho, soalnya simple dan ngga neko-neko alay pake gambar 7 rupa. Warna tube-nya putih gitu ahh suka pokoknya.

Begitu sodara sodara...

Tapi overall, nggak ganggu sama sekali.

Lanjut ke tokoh utamanya, si produknya sendiri. MAYGAD! Nah, punyanya the Soco ini nggak! Dia bikin bibirku lembab tapi dibawa angin anginan naik motor juga yaaaaa udah, tetep kaya baru pake aja gitu.

Sebulanan rutin pake lip balm ini, ngga terjadi tambahan kulit. HAH? Maksudnya???

Nggak ganggu, nggak nambah masalah, canggih pokoknya!

Lip balm ini dijual seharga Rp40.000,- saja untuk ukuran 5 gram (0.18 oZ). Sangat worth the price menurutku. Belinya? Bisa cek instagramnya @TheSoco.id

KESIMPULAN
Harga: 9.00 / 10.00
Hasil produk: 9.75 / 10.00
Re-purchase? IYA!

Penasaran sama wanginya hahahaha

Update: Saya berhasil menghabiskan satu tube dalam waktu sekitar 4 bulan.

Nah, kan masih sisa satu produk tuh yang belum di-review? Ditunggu, ya! Nanti kalau udah keliatan hasilnya pasti langsung ku review :)))

Ciao Bella!

JUARA Beauty Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner Review

SELAMAT!! KAMU RESMI MERAIH JUARA....... di hati aku. aww :3
*dihajar sekampung*

oke, balik ke jalan yang benar

Hola! Terima kasih udah mampir lagi kesini~

Eh, ternyata emang rejeki anak soleh! Passssss banget ternyata saya salah satu yang dapet produknya *sujud sukur*

Dalam hitungan menit setelah pengumuman, admin instagram Juara Beauty langsung DM saya meminta alamat lengkap untuk proses pengiriman produk. Singkat, padat, jelas, tanpa basa-basi-busuQQQ.

Alay, kan? ya gitu saya mah cinta-nya sama skin care bukan sama kamu. Iya, KAMU!

Oke, first impression dari botolnya. Tapi, overall saya nggak kecewa sama sekali. Produknya masih terlihat elegan, kok.

yang kedua, pump-nya. Saya kaget ternyata kalau ditekan gampang keluar produknya TAPI ANEHNYA kalo disimpen di tas ini gak tumpah. INI YANG BIKIN DEMIAN ATAU LIMBAD SIH WOY? AJAIB.

Harga: 7.00 /10.00
Efek produk di kulit: 9.00 / 10.00
Re-purchase? Kalau ada uangnya, YES

Kayanya segitu aja cukup, kalau kamu memang ada budgetnya untuk beli ini. aku bakal bilang "go for it" soalnya emang bagus dan alami produknya. Kalau memungkinkan malah aku ingin coba produk lainnya juga :))

That's it.

Ciao Bella :))

Bonus
Foto-Foto tonernya :)

Kopi Toko Djawa: A New Magnet in the Core of Bandung City

Source: Instagram.com/kopitokodjawa
Feeling familiar? Yes, this is a legendary bookstore that recently got altered into a coffee shop.

Located in the notorious street of Jalan Braga, Bandung, you can simply find the shop by strolling down the street. It is not that difficult to find the shop, as the shop was once a famous book store in Bandung. Selling books since 1955, this famous bookstore had to shut the store down in 2015 due to its lack of buyers. As the matter of fact, there was no more shopkeeper at that time (Source: Pikiran Rakyat)

No need to worry, last December the new owner altered the shop into a chic, vintage-themed coffee shop that attracts many (Especially the millenials, hahaha). The good news is, the owner did not change the interiors a lot from the classic bookstore layout except for some 'refreshment' to renew the store without changing much of its vintage, old-school atmosphere.

As someone who ever got inside the shop while it was still a bookstore, nothing much is changed. I felt like I am amongst a newly-freed country. The interiors are fresh, but the vintage atmosphere is still vibrant. I just love the concept. The owners might have changed, but the name remains. The owner still use the "Djawa" brand as the shop's name.

Once you get inside the shop, the coffee aroma fills your lungs. The waiter also greeted me warmly. One thing you should know, there is no such thing as your personal table. Kopi Toko Djawa uses the sharing table system where buyers can sit at any empty seat (as long as the seats are available, because at many times this shop is super-crowded).

This is where you order your coffees. Not only coffees available, there are some sweet foods you can enjoy.

I would say the price range is worth-it. I don't know what better words to describe. Reaction to prices might be different.

For me, personally, I would say this is affordable. Not really pricey, but not very cheap as well.

The cheapest you can get is one shot of espresso for Rp15.000. and the most expensive drink you can get is their Manual Brew for Rp35.000.

You can also add things to your beverages, such as another shot of espresso, susu (milk), and awan (sweet, creamy foam). The addition of milk and espresso priced for Rp5.000 and Rp8.000 for the addition of sweet foam.

For some, this shop might be on your 'cheap' list. but, do not underestimate the quality from its price. They might not be as expensive as a cup of Starbucks, but the taste is beyond the price. Trust me

I went there with two of my friends, Egi and Bella. The truth is, we did not plan this visit. We visited the shop while waiting for the movie. We did not complained, though.

Here is what we ordered
The picture above is the beverages we ordered.

From left to right:

Bella's Coconut Water: Rp20.000
My Kopi Awan: Rp24.000
Egi's Affogato: Rp20.000

The Coconut Water is nothing more than that, coconut water. Nothing much to say. You know how it tastes. The Kopi Awan is so dope! From its top (the foam, of course) to the bottom (the coffee), it impressed me. I almost ordered two, but remembered that I am a broke guy, LMAO. The Affogato is quite good, though (Egi said that). The espresso smelt strong, but I can't say more because I did not order that.

I, sadly, did not order the food. But nothing costs more than Rp20.000 (as I remembered).

The last thing they have is the coffee beans. Various kinds of beans are here but I forgot to snap what kind of beans they sell. The beans costs Rp100.000 for approximately 100 gram (Again, I forgot to capture the exact things).

When you are finished ordering, the barista will give you something.. a keychain? I don't really sure It was like a car key. Once your orders are ready, the thing beeps quite loud. Nice trick, I believe :D

Crap, I know I forget things a lot. I just want to tell you that this shop has no restroom. I understand it, this used to be a bookstore not a place to hang out. If you really need to go to the restroom, you can go to the nearest cafe, The Suga Rush. Make sure you don't pee yourself :p

On frame: Bella
Can we talk about the interiors, again?

I personally loving every corner of the shop! I told you, I felt like I was in the middle of the old-school Indonesia!

I wanted to take a selfie but I was too shy to do it, hahaha so I asked Bella to be my model. Egi wanted one too but I did not grant his wish :p

The cafe is worth to visit. If you are looking for a unique coffee shop and an affordable coffee, this cafe might be on your consideration.

I will definitely going back here, soon!

Here is some pictures I captured for you. Enjoy!

Spot Egi!

The Saem Iceland Hydrating Soothing Gel: Alternatif Aloe Vera?

Wazzup, peeps? *so asik*

--GANTI--

Hola!

(si)apakah doi? jeng..jeng..jeng~ *Musik dramatis*

The Saem Iceland Hydrating Soothing Gel !!!
*Soft Claps*

Yep! doi adalah soothing gel besutan brand ternama dari negeri paman lee min ho, The Saem! Oke, sekarang saya beneran mau nanya serius.

Yuk kite capcus bahas~

Seriusan, lho! sekarang susah nyari Aloe Vera Gel, hahahaha. Saya kan anaknya agak skeptis gitu, curigaan mulu sama yang namanya online shop. Terakhir saya cek, online shop kepercayaan saya Althea belum beroperasi lagi. Huft~ jadi harapan satu-satunya yaa nyari barang manual, atau nyari alternatifnya.

Pas baca tulisan "Tester" ya sebagai manusia ogah rugi saya cobain, dong, mumpung gratis~ ehhhhhhhhh ternyata bentukannya gel, terus wanginya enak banget pula. Dasar bego, mentang-mentang bungkusnya lucuk langsung dibeli *dihajar massa*

(read: buru buru pulang pengen nyobain)

Ini belum balik ke rumah, lagi makan
Harga-nya pun masih nempel belum disobek hahaha

Keterangan belakang produknya
(keliatan, gak?)
By the way, percobaan pertama saya cobain as a moisturizer. Tapi dipakenya ala-ala make Aloe vera gel. Jadi saya ambil cukup banyak, saya ratakan ke wajah dan leher, lalu saya diamkan sampai semuanya menyerap sempurna, lalu tidur.

Hasilnya? hmm.. karena baru pertama pakai, jadi yaa biasa aja. Tapi emang pas pagi-paginya cuci muka, kerasa lebih seger aja gitu.

Percobaan kedua saya pake sebagai base make up. YA ! BASE MAKE UP ! Hasilnya? Cukup mengagetkan, ternyata muka masih stay the same sampai saya hapus sebelum jam makan siang. Saya mulai make up pukul 05.00 dan menghapusnya sekitar pukul 11.30 tanpa touch up.

By the way, ini penampakan produknya

Produk baru dikeluarkan
Produk dibaurkan

One more thing, produknya juga cukup awet.

Harga : 8.00 / 10.00

Re-purchase?
Mungkin, tapi mau nyobain Aloe vera gel dulu. hahaha

Okay, thanks for reading this! Semoga membantu kalian kalian yang bingung mau nyobain Aloe vera tapi nggak nemu nemu. Produk ini beneran worth to try :))

Cheers!

Puteri Indonesia 2018: First Impression

Hola! Welcome back..

As you can read from the title, it's PAGEANT TIMEE~ I've always been triggered everytime I have to talk about pageant. It's like talking about skin care but in the "more excited" mode. LOL.

Usually, when talking about pageant, I write every word in English so that everyone in the corner of the world can read. LMAO

Okay, let's talk about the winners of the previous year. Last year, Indonesia earned its second Major crown through Jawa Barat's Kevin Lilliana in the Miss International pageant. It was such a huge step for Indonesian pageantry to earn two major crowns in two years (2016 Indonesia won the Miss Grand International pageant). It is such a big deal for us Indonesian to win such things. It means that Indonesian women are now acknowledged as one of the best in the entire world (okay I over exaggerated that one. LOL). The rest of the winners are also making a great mark in their respective Pageant. Dea Rizkita, for example, has succeeded to land herself in top 10 and won the Best National Costume Award in the Miss Grand International 2017. Karina Nadila also landed in the 14th rank in the Miss Supranational 2017. Not to mention Bunga Jelitha, she might not win any awards nor earned a spot in the semifinal round of the Miss Universe pageant, but her effort and her journey to the pageant is worth the standing applause.

I still remember last year I said "it's one of the best years in the history of Puteri Indonesia. Look at all those contestants! They are gorgeus!" and I hesitated to say the same this year. I honestly want to say the same like last year but I see something different from last year's. Each contestant of this year's Puteri Indonesia is a piece of puzzle. What does it means? it means that no one is more supreme than the other. There is always something missing in one contestant and the missing piece exists in the other contestant. There is no such thing as a 'clear winner'.

Last year I remember to have all the top 4 in my favourite list, and I guessed the right winner! This year? I don't know. It is more difficult than I thought. Still, I'll try my best to find out who is the possible winner! With that said, let's jump right into the list!

Jawa Tengah - Kidung Paramadita

Puteri Indonesia 2018
Miss Universe Indonesia

Jawa Tengah - Kidung Paramadita

This girl is the closest--in my opinion to the recent 'standard' the Miss Universe is looking for. She is sweet, kind, and fierce at the same time. Her facial feature is very classic Javanese woman (in my opinion) which will be her strong point in the Miss Universe pageant.
Unfortunately, I cannot see her being a 'magnet'. The last three Miss Universe-IMG era winners are all a magnet that their presence is so difficult to be ignored. They have the charm--something I haven't seen yet in Kidung's presence.

DKI Jakarta 6 - Karina Basrewan

Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2018
Miss International Indonesia

DKI Jakarta 6 - Karina Fariza Basrewan

This girl is MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE !! She is smart, authentic, fierce and strong. From so many occasions I saw, she is such a beauty with a heart. She is originally so humble, nice and most importantly she is REAL. You know sometimes a typical pageant girl is nice in front of the camera but acting the opposite off-camera. I find this girl so nice and real.

Question: Why Miss International?
I personally wanted her to be our Miss Universe Indonesia but in some ways I see her fits the Miss International organization. As I told you just now, her beauty, authenticity and her attitude is something the Miss International Org. is looking for. Plus, the Miss International Organization never like a representative that is looking the same way like its predecessor. Karina is so contrasting with Kevin, which is a good point to break the Miss International 'curse'
(There are sayings that if a country wins Miss International, the next year's rep will fail, but I guess it's because a country sends almost the same type with their winning girl, hoping to create a back-to-back win)

Papua - Yuli Nella

Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2018
Miss Supranational Indonesia

Papua - Yuli Nella

A black girl from eastern Indonesia to represent Indonesia in the international pageant?
BIG YES! YES! YES!
There are already so many types of girls repping Indonesia in Major pageants (MU, MW, MI, ME, MS, and MGI) except the black girl. Indonesian beauty is so diversed that I can say the whole universe is in Indonesia. I think it is time to introduce another type of beauty to the world.

Yuli is so beautiful. She is energetic, passionate, and just too sweet to be forgotten. I think this type of girl fits the Miss Supranational pageant. I believe if she really is going to Miss Supranational, she will at least walk with the top 5 title. How about winning? POSSIBLE, but she still has a big shoe to fill.

TOP 5

DKI Jakarta 4 - Jesslyn

DKI Jakarta 4 - Jesslyn Limm

Another strong contender. She is, for me, a type of either Miss Universe or Miss Supranational. She has stood out from the beginning of the quarantine 'til the present day. She is both a model and a TV host, things you can't deny are an excellent start to win the crown.
One thing I feel weird about her is that her presence is somehow too extra. She is confident--which is so good but I just feel that she is too extra. Nonetheless, she is still one of the frontrunners to grab the grand title.

D. I. Yogyakarta - Dilla Fadiela

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta - Dilla Fadiela

Maria Harfanti, is that you? No, she is Dilla Fadiela. At glance, she really is looking like Maria Harfanti, Miss Indonesia 2015. Netizens hope that her resemblance with Maria Harfanti leads her to the same fate with Maria, being the winner of the national pageant. However, don't let her beautiful face just a beautiful face. She is a fighter.
Before joining Puteri Indonesia, Dilla joined the Artikawhulandary beauty camp. She is one of the well-prepared girls in the competition. It makes her such a strong contender to bag one of the title in Puteri Indonesia 2018.

TOP 11

Sulawesi Tengah
Sinar Wulandary
Sulawesi Tengah - Sinar Wulandary

Sinar, has been robbing public's attention. For some reason, her facial feature is resembled with Chalita Suansane - Miss Universe Thailand 2016. Just like a de ja vu, her background was also similar with Chalita's. She used to be a not-so-wealthy girl and slowly rise and shine, just like her name. I believe this could be her strong aspect to win a spot in the top 11. I actually believe she will win, but somehow I think there will be no organization would send a girl that looks like someone in the past. Sinar's resemblance with Chalita Suansane, I believe, is the only problem to hold her away from going to Miss Universe.

Jawa Barat
Tria Devita

Jawa Barat - Tria Devita

A big hit for Jawa Barat. This year's theme for Puteri Indonesia is somehow related to Jawa Barat. Last year, a girl from Jawa Barat won an International crown. I believe Tria's job is one of the most difficult compared to any other contestants.

Fortunately, Tria has shown the world that all those things does not 'hit' her. She did amazingly well, she also handled every single day with grace, poise and she really enjoys the quarantine.

Sumatera Selatan
Berliana Permatasari
Sumatera Selatan - Berliana Permatasari

Girl, she is the definition of beauty! She is gorgeus, nice, she can also be fierce. The only thing I don't like is her makeup. Sometimes, her makeup is way too heavy. She looks older than she should. I believe with another training in makeup, she is just ready to rule the world!

Maluku
Leinda Melissa
Maluku - Leinda Melissa Wattimena

Another exotic girl? why not? She is such a gem, so precious. The problem about her is, she is too raw. She needs several more polishes before really ready for the international event, but hey? everything is about process, right?

One more note for her, she really need to be more 'magnetic'. The beauty, she already possessed is not enough. She needs to be unforgettable, which she has not realized the importance of it yet.

Sumatera Barat
Resti Asda
Sumatera Barat - Resti Asda

Girls from Sumatera Barat are acknowledged for its exotical beauty. Not only physically beautiful, West Sumatran girls are also strong and smart. This can be proved by Sumatera Barat's representative Resti Asda. She is not just beautiful, but also smart, elegant and most importantly killing every moment.

At first, she was not my favourite. but as the time marches she is growing better and better that she deserves an acknowledgement.

Sumatera Utara
Sri Bunga Hambali
Sumatera Utara - Sri Bunga Hambali

As the first contestant to be elected, she has more time to be prepared than any other girls in the competition. Sri Bunga apparently did not waste the chance. She transformed amazingly since she was first elected Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Utara.

If she stays as consistent as this, it is no suprise that she will bag one of the crowns of Puteri Indonesia 2018.

Other possible placement

Aceh - Nandiya Deva Puspa Dewi
Sulawesi Utara - Stevany Carolin
Banten - Vania Herlambang
NTT - Melati Tabita Thei

Regardless of every comments I addressed above, I truly appreciate every girl's effort for winning the title. No matter how, you are the best version of yourself.

Don't forget to read my final thought on March 9th 2018 !!

Cheers

Senka Perfect Whip: My New Holy Grail ?

Hola! akhirnya bisa kembali kesini. mwahahahaha~

Eniwei baswei, Selamat tahun baru! I know, telat. BANGET.

(bacanya pake intonasi ala-ala Suhay Salim). Well, actually saya agak ketinggalan nampaknya.

M A I N T E N A N C E ! ! !

Harga Senka Perfect Whip

Penampakannya
Dasar kelakuan aneh ga sembuh-sembuh. Kalo baru beli barang baru suka gakuat ingin dicoba hahahaha saking semangatnya stiker penjelasan ampe disobek-sobek (bego emang, nanti gabisa jelasin) begitu baca tulisan di belakangnya isinya huruf jepang semua, baru kerasa begonya :')

Kesan pertama pake facial foam ini: Girang kaya anak kecil main sabun kodomo yang sebotol gede isinya foam semua (pada tau, dong???? kalo gatau keterlaluan~)
Foamnya, naudzubillah tebel bener. Otak langsung mikir, "Pantes namanya Whip instead of Foam.

For Your Information, bikin busanya agak sedikit tricky. Untung saya sempet ceki-ceki YouTube dulu sebelum beli. Jadi nggak salah pakenya. kenapa tricky? It means, kalau berkurangnya konstan (obat sakit gigi. Ponstan deng *digaplok massal*) berarti satu tube bakalan habis 16 minggu atau kurang lebih 4 bulan. Berarti satu bulannya cuma ngeluarin uang dibawah 20 ribu, which is cool!

KEZAN KEZAN
Pertama pake, dengan busanya yang super banyak, saya pikir bakalan punya efek ngencengin agak narik gitu macem si sabun Kojie San. Eh, ternyata nggak! ini ya lembut aja gitu~

Efeknya agak aneh sih menurutku. Saya kan baru BANGET lepas dari skin care Kojie San, yang notabene sabunnya bikin kulit kuenceenngg. Lah ini pake facial foam yang ringan jadi berasa aneh aja gitu :') tapi seiring berjalannya waktu, diriku mulai terbiasa dengan hal yang tadinya kupikir tak biasa (Korban Dilan). By the way, udah nonton Dilan?

Jerawat, iya masih suka keluar. Apalagi kalo menu makanan gak dijaga, jerawat pasti muncul. Tapi kuanggap itu sangat, SANGAT NORMAL. Soalnya mau pake atau nggak pake produk di muka, jerawat begituan memang suka muncul. Tak perlu kuatir soalnya bakalan ilang dengan mengatur pola makan, pola tidur dan minum air putih :')

Kayaknya, cukup segitu aja kali, yes. Jangan lupa mampir ke
